The Holly Ball Committee recently released the names of 11 young ladies who will be presented at the 126th Tidewater Foundation Holly Ball. The ball will be held at 7 p.m. December 28 at Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club.
This Northern Neck yuletide gathering provides funding for charitable contributions by the Tidewater Foundation in support of worthy entities, programs and institutions promoting educational and cultural enrichment throughout the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula, reported Virginia Crowther Ritter.
The Holly Ball dates from 1895 and has been continuous, with the exception of a period during World War I and World War II.
