WHITE STONE—The Rotary Club of the Northern Neck recently announced donations to community organizations totaling some $30,000.
The annual giving through the Rotary Club of the Northern Neck Foundation included YMCA/APYC Camp Kekoka, Northern Neck – Middlesex Free Health Clinic, Dream Fields/Youth Club of Lancaster County, Interfaith Services Council, The Link, Deputy Santa, Lancaster Community Library, Northumberland Public Library, Bay Aging Caregiver Support Programs, Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck, Healthy Harvest Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Lancaster High School Band, Lancaster Middle School Band, Hospice Support Services, The Haven, YMCA, CASA, Lancaster County Educational Foundation and The Robotics Club.
Rotary president Davis Pere thanked all on the great work they do for the community. These grants are only possible through the fundraising efforts of the club such as The Poker Run in July and Christmas Tree Sales, said Pere.
