Smithland Baptist Church in Heathsville will welcome Randy and Gwendolyn Ashcraft, missionaries to Thailand, to the 11 a.m. service Sunday, July 22.
The Ashcrafts also visited Smithland in October 2015, reported publicity chairman Patsy C. Headley.
Gwendolyn is the daughter of Diane and Clifford Stanley. She was born while her parents lived in Heathsville in 1975, said Headley.
Randy grew up as the son of missionaries to Mexico, she said. He graduated from Louisiana Baptist Seminary in 1997. Gwen grew up as the child of mission-minded parents. They attended Smithland Baptist Church while they lived in the Heathsville area…
