The Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District (NNSWCD) recently announced two $1,000 scholarships are available to Northern Neck students majoring in, or intending to major in, any course curriculum related to natural resource conservation and/or environmental studies.
The scholarships are intended to promote and encourage the education of Virginia citizens in technical fields of natural resource conservation and/or environmental protection, said education and outreach specialist Kathleen Watson.
