As part of the commemoration of both Women’s History Month in March and the passage of the 19th Amendment by both Houses of Congress, the stories of the courage of four American women are presented in Behind Lady Liberty’s Right Shoulder! Women of Courage in the Explosions at Black Tom Island and Kingsland, New Jersey: 1916-1917 by Susan Anthony-Tolbert.
