The Northern Neck Family YMCA on March 1 started the 2019 second grade learn to swim program.
The program began in 2006 and is in its 14th consecutive year of operation, reported community development specialist Tom Martin. It offers all second grade Lancaster public school and Chesapeake Academy students an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of swimming and water safety.
