Ye Olde Book Shoppe, 7072 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, Northumberland Public Library’s used book store, will celebrate Earth Day by offering patrons $5-off coupons on its gardening and naturalist book collection.
As a bonus, hard-to-find reference books from the collection of local naturalist and wildflower photographer Ellis Squires will be offered, reported Pamela Hagy. Squires was first to discover several rare native plants in the Northern Neck.
The sale also includes lavishly illustrated coffee-table books on gardening, landscaping and waterscaping.
The promotion will be held April 18-20 during regular store hours. Coupons will be available at the library, at the shop and April 20 at the Heathsville Farmers Market.
