A committee of the State Board for Community Colleges has certified two finalists for the position of president at Rappahannock Community College. The finalists were among 70 applicants from across the nation.
The finalists are Dr. Shannon L. Kennedy of Shelby, N.C., and Dr. Mellissia M. Zanjani of Burlington Township, N.J.
Open forums were held with Dr. Kennedy on Monday, April 29, and Dr. Zanjani on Tuesday, April 30. The candidates each gave a 15-minute presentation and a 30-minute question and answer session followed.
