Tourism expert to conduct public informational sessions and workshops

WHITE STONE—Virginia Tech professor Dr. Vince Magnini will host three open sessions related to tourism in the Northern Neck.

Sponsored by the Northern Neck Planning District Commission (NNPDC), the sessions will focus on developing new strategies to attract visitors and increase tourism opportunities in the Northern Neck Heritage Area. The first session will be offered at 7 p.m. today, May 9, at the Transportation Building at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville.

Two sessions will be held Monday, May 13. One at 10 a.m. at the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum, 504 Main Street, Reedville, and the second at 5:30 p.m. at the White Stone Town Hall, 433 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone. All three sessions are open to the public.
