FREDERICKSBURG—Route 620, Kissinger Springs Road, over Kissinger Mill Pond in Northumberland County has reopened to traffic after crews replaced the bridge beams and deck.
Last year, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) closed the bridge immediately for motorist safety after finding deterioration in key support elements during a bridge safety inspection, reported communications coordinator Darragh Frye.
