LANCASTER—John Randolph “Rand” Hooper of Richmond will appear before Judge Herbert Hewitt in Lancaster County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. Monday, August 19, on charges of involuntary manslaughter and failing to render aid in the death of Graham McCormick of Atlanta.
The hearing comes exactly two years after McCormick’s body was found in the Rappahannock River. He had drowned as the result of a boating accident, according to the state medical examiner.
Hooper is expected to enter a plea agreement.
