Kilmarnock United Methodist Church (KUMC), 89 East Church Street, Kilmarnock will host a Thanksgiving Mission Dinner from 5-7 p.m. November 13 in the church fellowship hall.
The menu will include turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and homemade desserts.
Proceeds from this dinner will go to Keith Elswick, reported KUMC publicity chairman Richard Manson.
On June 27, Elswick, 39, husband and father of two was walking his dogs when his foot caught on a loose deck board causing him to fall backwards. He fell off his deck 6 feet to the ground and 30 minutes later was found by his older son unable to move.
