The board of trustees recently announced the appointment of Dawn Fleet as the next head of school at Ware Academy effective December 1, 2019.
The unanimous decision was based on the enthusiastic recommendation of the head search committee, which embarked on a nationwide search process last spring. The committee, assisted by Southern Teachers and the Ware community, exercised due diligence; identified ideal qualities of a head of school for Ware Academy; narrowed a field of 20 candidates to seven semi-finalists; then conducted extensive interviews.
