Indian Creek Yacht Club holds fun safety even

Indian Creek Yacht Club (ICYC) held a Flare Fest on February 22.

Commodore Tony Ennis said the event was “intended to be a fun way for boaters to become familiar with important safety gear in a nonemergency setting.”

The event also allowed participants to dispose of expired flares in a safe and legal manner, reported vice commodore Robert Wayland.
