IRVINGTON—During a special called meeting on February 20, the Irvington Town Council approved an amended conditional use permit authorizing Joseph Hothard to erect a pier on Carter Creek, extending from his property on The Lane.
Following a second reading on the proposal, council voted 5-0 in favor. Kathleen Pollard, Frances Westbrook, Wayne Nunnally, Bonnie Schaschek, Jackie Brown voted in favor. Micheal Bombay was absent.
In 4-0 votes, council appropriated $2,000 to the Lancaster Community Library and approved a schedule for developing and adopting a town budget.
