KILMARNOCK—Beatrice Eloise “Nanny” Smith, 99, of Kilmarnock, previously of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2020. It was just a few short months before her 100th birthday.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Valentine Ellis and Walter Lee Ellis Sr.; her son, Rudolph Smith; brothers, Walter Ellis Jr., William Ellis and Robert Ellis Sr.; and her sisters, Gladys Ellis Cummings and Zelma Ellis Habermehl.
She is survived by her daughters, Margo Eloise Brown and Mary Bowers; her brother, Lonnie Ellis; sister, Marion Ellis Sanders; grandchildren, Charlene Booth, Nikki Coppola, Christy Kubicki, Timothy Smith, Craig Smith, Stephanie Brown, TJ Bowers and Jimmy Bowers; and great-grandchildren, Zachary Solomon, Tyler Solomon, Addison Kubicki, Hannah Kubicki, Timothy Smith Jr., Brandon Smith, Kaci Smith, Carmen Smith, Coy Brown and Ruby Brown. She is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews.
Memorial services are planned to be held in September on her 100th birthday.
