President Barbara Sethmann and curator David Jett were pleased to receive digital reproductions of approximately 13,500 photographs from local historian Wesley E. Pippenger, to be preserved at the Essex History Museum.
In a statement, Sethmann said, “This addition to the museum and to the community is invaluable and we thank Wes for entrusting us with his detailed and extensive collection.”
Pippenger arrived in the area in 2007 and ever since has collected photographs that document the people and places of Essex County and the surrounding…There's more to this story...
