29 golfers compete in annual Independence Day Flag Tournament

On Saturday, July 4, Indian Creek Yacht and Country club conducted its annual fun flag tournament.

Players plant their flags where their last shot with a given stroke allocation comes to rest, reported head golf professional Mike Mayer. The stroke allocation is 90% of their handicap plus par.

Twenty-nine players enjoyed a nice hot and humid day on the course playing in the event, said Mayer….
