Lancaster holds socially-distanced graduation ceremony

LANCASTER—After schools abruptly closed in March due to concerns related to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, many students and educators across the Commonwealth wondered whether a celebration to mark the end of their seniors’ high school careers would happen at all.

“On March 13, 2020, we left Lancaster High School due to COVID-19, hoping to resume learning at school in just two weeks. We certainly did not know that our seniors would never return to our school grounds as students,” said principal Tara Booth.
