HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, December 15, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
Michelle A. King of Warsaw, charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, entered a plea of nolo contendere, and a deferred disposition was continued to December 14, 2021. King pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated, second offense within five to 10 years, and was fined $500. An ancillary misdemeanor charge of unauthorized possession of drug paraphernalia was nolle prossed.
Deasia T. Cobb of Center Cross, charged with felony extortion in writing, entered a plea of nolo contendere, and a deferred disposition was continued to December 14, 2021.
