Students experience watershed adventure

Chesapeake Academy’s fifth, sixth and seventh grade classes recently participated in a one-day field experience featuring watershed dynamics, water-quality testing, estuarine food chains, trawling for fish, fish identification and adaptations, mapping skills, crab potting, point source/non-point source pollution and the various ways people make their livelihoods on the Chesapeake Bay.
