Two LHS swimmers qualify for state meet

Lancaster’s swim team may be few in numbers but it’s mighty.

The Red Devils qualified two swimmers in four races for the Class 1/2 combined state swim meet today, February 17, at Swim RVA’s Collegiate School Aquatics Center. Lancaster also produced a dual Region 1/2A champion in senior Morgan VerMeer.

VerMeer won the Region 1/2A championship in both the boys 50- and 100-yard freestyle races at last week’s….
