The Northern Neck Sail and Power Squadron recently announced two upcoming courses at the NNSPS Classroom, Chesapeake Commons Shopping Center, 453C North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
Cruising
A Cruising and Cruise Planning Course will be offered a 6 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning March 1 and continuing through May 3.
Gain the confidence and practical skills needed to explore ports and rivers on the Chesapeake Bay, said public relations chairman Ray Reuter.
“Our experienced instructors are ready to prepare you for a weekend or weeks at a time with subjects on how to: Equip your Boat, Anchor, Charter a Boat, Cruising outside the United States, Provision your boat, Manage your Voyage, Navigate and Manage Emergencies,” said Reuter.
