Belle Isle State Park to host Fall Festival

Belle Isle State Park, 1632 Belle Isle Road, Lancaster, will host a Fall Festival from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. October 8.

Carve or decorate a pumpkin for $3, take a wagon tour of the park, launch a mini gourd from the giant slingshot, or check out fall activity tables with the Northern Neck Master Naturalists, reported park manager Katie Shepard.

The Northumberland County Animal Shelter will bring some cute friends….
