The Town of Irvington recently issued a reminder to business owners regarding licenses.
In the past nine months the Irvington Town Council and Planning Commission have held a number of meetings covering licensing fees for business owners, reported mayor Julie W. Harris.
Some confusion has ensued because many of the meetings were concerning short term rental (STR) businesses and other businesses of all kinds within the town’s corporate limits. A decision was made to combine the STR registrations with all other business registrations to streamline the process, and unfortunately, this has caused some questions, said Harris.
