Cranes Creek Sunfish racing begins

A fleet of eight Sunfish sailboats turned out for the Cranes Creek Yacht Club’s inaugural Tuesday Evening Racing.

Race Committee chairman Tom Fink conducted eight races to open the season, reported Jim Lamb. The fleet includes men and women; young and old; as well as complete beginners and experienced racers. 

The Tuesday evening races are held on Cranes Creek beginning at 5 p.m. 

The informal group emphasizes safe and friendly racing on….
