LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened Friday, September 15, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.
In the case of Larry W. Hearn Jr. of Weems, charged with five felonies and two misdemeanors for failing to comply with pretrial conditions; five felonies and two misdemeanors for failing to appear; three felonies and two misdemeanors for violating probation; a felony for selling/distributing alprazolam; a felony for selling/distributing cocaine; a felony for receiving/buying stolen goods greater than $500; and a felony for selling stolen goods greater than $500; a trial was continued. A new trial date will be set September 22.
In the case of Kendrick O. Providence of Heathsville, charged with a felony for violating probation, a capias was issued when he failed to appear.
