On Saturday, October 21, the Lancaster Band Boosters will sponsor Band Day. This event has been happening for decades, and they are very happy to continue the tradition.
From 9 a.m.-noon, members of the Lancaster High School (LHS) Red Devils Band will be stationed at businesses throughout the county accepting donations. To thank the community for continuing support, both the LHS Band and the Lancaster Elementary School (LES) Band will present a mini-concert at 1 p.m. near the main entrance of LES, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
“The Lancaster Band Boosters have a huge part in the band’s success,” said LHS band director Kenny Flester. “We are very happy to be able to have this event again.”
