The Bobby ‘BlackHat’ Band is coming to Northumberland

The Bobby “BlackHat” Band

Bobby “BlackHat” Walters and his band will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. November 11 at Northumberland High School, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville. This concert is sponsored by the Rappahannock Concert Association and is supported by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Walters, Virginia’s Blues Ambassador, is an award-winning recording artist, harmonica player (for over 46 years), vocalist, songwriter, comedian and producer.  He has opened for B.B King, Taj Mahal, Delbert McClinton, Patty Labelle, Ramsey Lewis and Maze. 

The Bobby BlackHat Band blends the influences of Chicago, Memphis, Piedmont and Delta style blues along with a little gospel….
