Lancaster County Sheriff’s fleet receiving a fresh logo

KILMARNOCK—Several vehicles in the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) fleet have a new look, courtesy of a collaborative effort between the department and a local business.
A new vehicle logo is more modern and reflects the beauty of our county, said LCSO Detective First Sergeant Brian O’Bier.

The design features a sunset on the Rappahannock River with the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge in the foreground. Det. FSgt. O’Bier envisioned the logo, had a friend take the photograph and, after getting the go-ahead from Sheriff Patrick McCranie, met with River Glass owner Chris Cornwell, who made it happen.

Two new vehicles plus one already in the fleet have the new logo…
