Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club, 362 Club Drive, Kilmarnock, will sponsor a “Take a Swing at Cancer” fundraiser at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 15.
The format is a scramble, reported head golf professional Brenda Mayer, PGA. The event is open to the public.
Golfers can form their own team or players can be assigned to a team, said Mayer. There will also be a dinner, raffle, mulligans and closest to the pins, said Mayer.
Donations can also be made with memorial flags and hole sponsorships, she said. Proceeds will go to either Bon Secours, Massey Cancer Center or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Virginia.
Participants must register by Tuesday, July 10; call the Indian Creek Pro Shop, 435-3130.
