Veteran Robert Means of Urbanna is featured in Voyage Media’s podcast, “True War Stories: Mission Report.”
The title, “Short Timer,” relates how Means, with 13 days left in Vietnam, gets caught up in the Tet Offensive, the biggest battle of the war, he said.
Returning home, he struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bringing him to an emotional crisis lasting three years. To sooth his adrenalin addiction from the war, he volunteers doing international disaster relief that carried on for four decades.
Kellan Lutz portrays Means in many of the combat scenes. The series is produced by Nat Mundel, Robert Mitas, Dan Benamor and Adam Prince.
