Baseball returns to Dream Fields

Baseball has returned to Dream Fields in Kilmarnock. Although the Lancaster County Little League season has been put on hold and Lancaster High School’s baseball season was cut short back in March, the lights on the diamond were lit and the stands were full Monday night as the Lancaster Navy took on Rappahannock Space Force in the 241 Baseball League. Rappahannock beat Lancaster, 11-0. The summer league includes players ages 13-16 on seven teams from Mathews, Middlesex, Gloucester, Lancaster, Rappahannock and Northumberland counties.
