Blacksmithing classes offered at the Tavern

Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place. Heathsville, has scheduled a one-day “Beginners’ Blacksmithing” class. Interested individuals may choose either September 12 or October 3. The class will extend from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Tavern Forge.

Taught by the members of the Tavern Blacksmith Guild, the class includes all materials, reported executive director Corinne Becker. The fee is $100.
