Blake explores robotics tool

Science teacher Robin Blake is ready to share her micro:bit training with her students.

Chesapeake Academy science teacher Robin Blake is excited to share her experience at a recent micro:bit conference centered around The Invent to Learn Guide to the Micro:bit by Peter Heldens and Pauline Maas.

A micro:bit is a tiny computer–smaller than a credit card. But that wee processor boasts the capability of hooking up to a LED light display with 25 LED lights, features two buttons to program, sensors and a variety of features, including an accelerometer, which can tell when the micro:bit is moving, a compass which shows the direction it is moving in, and a radio and Bluetooth transmitter that can interact with other devices.
