For over 125 years, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Heathsville sponsored its annual Strawberry Festival.
This popular community event draws thousands from across the Northern Neck and beyond to enjoy the large craft show, fresh local strawberries and shortcake, live music, food, a large bake and plant sale, reported Community Homecoming Festival chairman Ellen Kirby. Health restrictions in 2020 and 2021 resulted in cancellation of the festival.
