Historic Christ Church & Museum in Weems invites the community to its seventh Raise the Roof Craft Beer Fest from 1-6 p.m. October 15. Held on the grounds near the 1735 Christ Church, the event will feature music, Virginia craft beers, wine, barbecue or vegetarian fare and homemade ice cream.
The jazz-swing band Good Shot Judy and the nationally acclaimed blues band Bobby “Blackhat” Walters will entertain the crowd and get everyone dancing, reported assistant director Paula Stallard.
