Delia Ibañez of A-Ibañez Museum, Kilmarnock, is bringing her work as a dancer and arts administrator in Arizona back east for the world premiere performance of Stories from Home by Safos Dance Theatre in Washington, D.C.
Ibañez has been working with Safos since 2018 when she joined the original cast of Braceros, one of the dances which is featured in the upcoming performance. In 2021, she was promoted to rehearsal assistant for the company, teaching choreography and leading community workshops for the company as it tours.
