The Heathsville Farmers Market on May 20 will host the Chesapeake Bay Garden Club’s spring flower show.
Free and open to the public, this National Garden Club Small-Standard Flower Show, “A Celebration of 70 Years,” will celebrate the club’s 70 years of commitment to horticulture and creativity in floral media, reported market manager Corinne Becker.
The market will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville. Shoppers can find fresh Northern Neck produce, locally raised meat and eggs, flowers and nursery plants, bread and baked goods, gourmet peanuts and locally-made….
