LOTTSBURG—Virginia State Police Trooper J.C. Baker is investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash in Northumberland County. The crash occurred April 2, at 5:10 p.m. on Lewisetta Road, north of Bon Harbor Road.
A 1999 BMW 321i was traveling on Lewisetta Road when it ran off the left side of the road and struck an embankment, fence and tree, reported VSP public relations director Corinne N. Geller.
The driver, Sami M.S. Basuhail, 51, of Lottsburg died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
