The 59th annual Labor Day Art Show is the main event this month at the RAL Art Center, 19 North Main Street, Kilmarnock. But before entering the gallery, stop for a moment to view the window display showcasing the work of member artists Carol Wollstein and Dorothy Fagan.
Wollstein has been working in oils for many years, having studied at the University of Maryland and Northern Virginia Community College. After college, she began exhibiting in New Orleans where she lived and worked for many years. Following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, she moved to the area to be near family and currently lives here on a large farm.
