The deadline for grant requests from local organizations seeking money from the ongoing Grace Church Yard Sale is May 1.
This is the first of two chances to submit applications for money in 2023, said Cliffe Harris. The second deadline for submitting grant requests will be November 1.
Organizations may apply for money by both deadlines and are not limited to one or the other. Grant applications can be mailed to Grace Episcopal Church or dropped at the church office at 303 South Main Street, Kilmarnock. Checks for approved requests will be issued by the end of May. The Grace Church outreach committee was able to fund 13 different organizations in 2022.
