Highway cleanup clears 15+ bags of trash

WICOMICO CHURCH—A crew of 12 volunteers cleared the roadsides and gullies during the recent Northumberland Association for Progressive Stewardship (NAPS) Spring Highway Cleanup. Fifteen large bags of trash plus several oversized items were removed from Jessie duPont Memorial Highway from Wicomico Church to Tipers Bridge to be disposed of or recycled.
