Household Hazardous Waste Collection event set May 1 for Northumberland County

CLARAVILLE—On May 1, Northumberland County residents and property owners can drop their unwanted hazardous chemicals and items at a spring Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste (HHW/EW) collection event.

The spring 2021 collection will be from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Northumberland Middle/High School bus lot, accessible off of Northumberland Highway in Claraville, said Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District education/outreach specialist Kathleen D. Watson. This event is open to Northumberland County residents and property owners only.
