Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club (ICYCC) on July 14 concluded its summer sailing series with a banner—hot—weather week, allowing students to perfect their new-found sailing skills.
Over the course of the summer, more than 60 sailors ages 7-16 participated in weeklong sessions learning the art of sailing under the instruction of US Sailing Certified Instructor Chris Johnson, sailing master Debby and Dan Hoyt, and trained counseling staff, said sales & marketing/membership director Megan Stephens.
Some children were new to sailing, others were advancing their skills, but all were ready for a good time on the water….
