James Cook recently was awarded the first Dennis Burchill Memorial Education Scholarship. The $1,000 scholarship was established by the Burchill family to honor Dennis’ commitment to the youth of our community through his years of service on the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck.
The scholarship will be awarded annually to a Boys & Girls Club Member who is pursuing higher education in communications or related studies.
