REEDVILLE—The Julius Rosenwald School Foundation of Northumberland County (JRSFNC) recently was notified by the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Department of Historic Resources (DHR) that the Julius Rosenwald High School in Reedville was officially listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The National Park Service (NPS), a division of the U.S. Department of Interior, added the school to the National Register on October 23, 2023. DHR extended congratulations to JRSFNC on achieving this honorary designation.
