Kenna and Duffy win 2020 mixed doubles championship at ICYCC

Indian Creek Yacht and Country Club hosted its 2020 mixed doubles championships October 17.

The mixed tournament featured four teams, Gail Kenna and Jeff Duffy, Brenda Christoforatos and Howard Aderholt, Linda Fothe and John Grasso and Debbie Gillispie and Bob Gillispie, reported racquet sports director George Christoforatos.

Saturday morning started off with a bang. Kenna and Duffy and Debbie and Bob Gillispie battled for over two hours, Kenna and Duffy won the first set, 6-2; the Gillispies won the second set, 7-6; and Kenna and Duffy won the tiebreaker, 10-4. This match went back and forth…
