KILMARNOCK—The Kilmarnock planning commission on Monday, May 13, approved a subdivision application for a new six-lot subdivision at 15957 Mary Ball Road. The application was submitted by William L. Mills III.
The property is about 4.4 acres in size and is on the right hand side of the street heading into Kilmarnock just before entering South Main Street.
According to zoning administrator Marshall Sebra, the property is currently owned by Melvin Grimes and the transfer of property is contingent upon approval of the subdivision application.
Sebra also noted the current plat is a bit out of date and suggested if the commission voted to approve the application they require an updated plat to be drawn and submitted. Sebra also requested approval be contingent upon the transfer of ownership.
Commission member Tara Donahue asked Mills what the price point of the homes would be and Mills responded between $300,000-$400,000.
