Lancaster County Circuit Court

LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Circuit Court convened on Friday, February 21, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

James M. Veney of Newport News was found in violation of his probation and sentenced to 14 years, all of which were suspended, and ordered into the Community Corrections Alternative Program with 3 years of probation upon release. A review hearing was continued until March 13 while Veney is on a waiting list for the program.

The Lancaster County Circuit Court also convened on Friday, February 28, with the Hon. R. Michael McKenney presiding.

The case of Keywon M. Gaskins of Heathsville, charged with one felony for violating probation on a felony offense, was continued to April 24. Gaskins also was found guilty of…
